Dirt 2

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (known as Dirt 2 in the Americas and stylised, DiRT 2)[6] is aracing game released in September 2009, and is the sequel to Colin McRae: Dirt. This is the first game in the McRae series since McRae's death in 2007. It was announced on 19 November 2008 and features Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Tanner Foust, and Dave Mirra. The game includes many new race-events, including stadium events. Along with the player, an RV travels from one event to another, and serves as "headquarters" for the player. It features a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to diverse and challenging real-world environments. The game takes place across four continents: Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. The game includes five different event types:Rally, Rallycross, "Trailblazer", "Land Rush" and "Raid". The World Tour mode sees players competing in multi-car and solo races at new locations, and also includes a new multiplayer mode.

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 is the first PC video game to use Blue Ripple Sound's Rapture3Dsound engine by default.[7] Also it was one of the first video games to implement the then newly released DirectX 11 graphical standard on ATI 5000 and NVIDIA Geforce 400series chipsets.

A demo of the game was released on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplaceon 20 August 2009.[8] The demo appeared for the PC on 29 November 2009; it features the same content as the console demo with the addition of higher graphic settings and a benchmark tool.[9] The Mac OS X version of the game was released by Feral Interactive.[2]

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 is an official sponsor of Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Tanner Foust and Dave Mirra of the Subaru Rally USA.[10] The game also features former rally driver Mohammed ben Sulayem.

The sequel Dirt 3 was released on 24 May 2011.

Dirt 3 (stylised DiRT 3) is a rallying video game and the third in the Dirt series of the Colin McRae Rally series, developed and published by Codemasters. However, the "Colin McRae" tag has been completely removed from this iteration (having previously been removed from only American versions of previous games in the series).[3] The game was released in Europe and North America on 24 May 2011, and two days later in Australia for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Japanese version of Dirt 3 was released on 25 August 2011.[4][5][6] In September 2011, there were reports that a network security problem on the website of an AMD promo had resulted in the loss of 3 million Dirt 3 keys to the public for use via the Steam platform that have then been posted in various places around the internet.[7][8]

cars 2: the video game

Cars 2: The Video Game is a racing game developed by Avalanche Software. It is based on the film Cars 2, the sequel to the 2006 film Cars. Originally announced at E3 in 2011, the game was released by Disney Interactive on major platforms in North America on June 21, 2011, and in Australia 2 days later. The game was released in Europe on July 22, 2011. The PlayStation 3 version of the game was reported to feature stereoscopic 3D gameplay. The PlayStation Portable version was released in North America on November 8, 2011.[2] It was cancelled in Europe for unknown reason, but was released in the UK on November 4, 2011.[3]

Unveiled at the American International Toy Fair in New York City, Cars 2 allows players to jump into the Cars universe with a brand new international spy theme. The game features an array of Cars characters competing in action-packed spy adventures, as well as world-class racing. The game received positive reviews, with a score of 76 on Metacritic for the Xbox 360 version. Customers who purchased the game at Target from June 28 to July 2, received a $10 gift card for free.[4]

Flatout: Ultimate carnage

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage is the third game in the FlatOut demolition racing series, known earlier as FlatOut: Total Carnage. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage was officially announced February 1, 2007, and was released on July 22, 2007 in Europe, on August 1, 2007 in Australia and on October 2, 2007 in North America for Xbox 360.[1] The game is an enhanced port of FlatOut 2 featuring new gameplay modes and graphics as well as at least 2 new cars.

Track mania united forever

On 7 October 2007, Nadeo announced that they were working on updated versions of TrackMania United and TrackMania Nations. Both new versions have Forever added to their name, and are network compatible. TrackMania Nations Forever includes the new stadium blocks and physics system introduced in TrackMania United, which allow TrackMania United Forever and TrackMania Nations Forever players to compete on the same (Stadium) servers.

Nadeo has stated that because they want the game to have a long lifespan, they are working on the engine and user interface rather than adding new content. TrackMania United Forever, for instance, no longer requires the CD to be in the drive due to different copy protection and anti-cheat systems. They also warn players that some features may not be the final versions.

Bang bang racing

Bang Bang Racing is a racing video game co-developed by Playbox and Digital Reality and published by Digital Reality. It was first released as Bang Bang Racing THD for Android-based devices on May 13, 2011. It was released in June 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. It received mixed reviews from critics. Some found that the game's focus on racing and omitting Mario Kart style weaponry allowed it simplistic fun, yet some were critical of it's local-only multiplayer.
